A new ground floor wing and loft dormer are contemporary and distinguished extensions to the original Victorian semi. The asymmetrical extension draws light and garden views into the original building by means of a new courtyard, vaulted ceiling and expansive glazing.

PAGES LANE Refurbishment and reconfiguration of a delapidated house and a courtyard extension. This scheme sets additional living area within a south facing garden setting. A single storey ground floor extension is pulled away from the house in plan to create a new courtyard that connects the formal front rooms, kitchen and new living wing. The extension roofline is angled to lean away from an existing Mountain Ash, and to maintain unobstructed views from the first floor bedroom window. The refurbishment of the existing property is honest to the character and stylings of its period. Black metal cladding and detailing define new elements, subtly contrasting against the textured red brick of original structures.
